These terms cover every visit to velvaraliving.com and every purchase made on it. Velvara is the trading name of VELVARA LIMITED, which is incorporated in Hong Kong.
1. Accepting These Terms
When you browse the site or place an order, you accept these Terms of Service along with our Cookie, Privacy, Shipping and Refund policies. If you would rather not accept them, please do not use the site. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to VELVARA LIMITED, and "you" refers to the person visiting or buying.
2. Using the Site
You may look around and buy for your own personal use, not for resale. You agree not to use the site unlawfully, attempt to reach systems or data that are not meant for you, harvest its content with bots or scrapers, disrupt its operation, or introduce malicious code.
3. Guest Checkout Only
There are no customer accounts on this site. Every order is placed as a guest using the details you enter at checkout, and keeping those details accurate is your responsibility.
4. Products, Prices and Currency
We photograph and describe each piece as faithfully as we can, and we name materials exactly, including dyed, stabilised, plated or imitation materials. Beads, stones and fabric dyes vary, so the piece you receive can differ slightly in shade or pattern from the photograph. If a listing is plainly wrong about its price or about what the piece is, we are entitled to cancel that order, and you get every cent back.
Every price on the site is in US dollars (USD). Prices and the range may change at any time, but a change never alters an order you have already placed.
5. Orders and Payment Authorisation
Your order is an offer to buy, which we can accept or decline. We may turn down or cancel an order, for instance when a piece has sold out or the order appears fraudulent, and any payment already taken is then refunded in full to the method you used.
We take payment at the moment you place the order. Submitting payment gives us your authorisation to collect the checkout total, tax and shipping included, from the card or account you entered, and confirms that you have the right to use it. Third-party payment processors handle the transaction, and we do not keep full card numbers.
6. Billing: One Charge Per Order
Each order you place is a one-time purchase. One charge is made, for the checkout total you approved. Velvara offers no free trials, instalment plans, memberships, subscriptions or auto-ship programmes, and placing an order never signs you up for one. There is no recurring charge of any kind, and your card is never automatically rebilled. It is charged again only when you choose to place another order.
Each payment shows up on a card statement as VELVARA.
Buyers need to be 18 years of age or older.
Any shipping cost appears at checkout before you pay. Standard shipping is currently free.
7. Risk of Loss and Title
Once the carrier collects your parcel, risk of loss passes to you, and so does title. That does not reduce what the Shipping Policy promises: a parcel lost or damaged on its way to you is still replaced or refunded.
8. Cancelling an Order
Ask early. The cancellation form is quickest, though support@velvaraliving.com and +1 888 601 7172 work too. Anything still with us can be stopped and refunded in full; anything already in transit becomes a return under Section 9.
9. Returns and Refunds
Every product is eligible for return and refund, whether opened or unopened. We do not ask that a piece be unused, unworn or still in its original packaging before it qualifies.
Return requests are accepted for 30 days from delivery, with proof of purchase in the form of your order number or confirmation email. Approved refunds reach the card or account you paid with within 5–10 business days after the piece is back with us. To begin, contact support@velvaraliving.com or +1 888 601 7172 quoting the order number; we reply with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number plus the return address, and we email you when the refund is made. 10. Talk to Us Before Disputing a Charge
If an order goes wrong, please come to us first at support@velvaraliving.com or +1 888 601 7172, Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST. We settle most problems in a day or two. A chargeback raised with your bank before speaking to us usually runs for 30 to 90 days, and your money waits for the whole of that time.
11. Intellectual Property and Trademarks
The words, photographs, graphics, logo and layout of this site are owned by VELVARA LIMITED or the people who license them to us, and copyright and trademark law protect them. Apart from what normal browsing needs, you may not copy or reuse them without written permission from us. Other brands named on the site belong to their respective owners, who hold the trademarks.
12. Limitation of Liability
The site comes to you "as is" and "as available". As far as the law permits, we accept no liability for consequential, special, incidental or indirect loss connected with the site or with anything bought through it. Our total liability on any claim is capped at the greater of the amount you paid for the order in question and one hundred US dollars ($100). These terms do not limit any liability that the law says cannot be limited, and they do not take away your statutory rights as a consumer.
Our pieces are fashion accessories. We make no health, healing, protective or similar claims for any of them.
13. Indemnity
You agree to cover VELVARA LIMITED for any claim, loss or reasonable legal cost that arises because you broke these terms, misused the site or infringed another person's rights.
14. Governing Law, Courts and Arbitration
Hong Kong Special Administrative Region law governs these terms and any dispute over them or the site, without applying its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Hong Kong SAR have jurisdiction, except where the arbitration provision below applies.
A dispute that has not been resolved through discussion with us within 30 days after written notice goes to final and binding arbitration at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), under the HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules in force at the time. One arbitrator decides the case, Hong Kong SAR is the seat, and judgment on the award can be entered by any competent court.
Claims against VELVARA LIMITED proceed individually only. You agree not to bring or join a class action, a consolidated action or any representative action, and you give up any right to do so.
15. Suspension, Changes and Severability
Anyone who breaches these terms may have their access to the site suspended. We can revise these terms; the effective date above shows the current version, and each order is governed by the version in force when it was placed. Should a court decide that any provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions still apply.
16. Electronic Communications
An order comes with emails: the receipt, shipping and tracking updates, and our replies about returns, refunds or cancellations. By ordering you agree to receive them and accept that these electronic notices and records satisfy any requirement for something to be in writing. Marketing email is sent only on request, and each one carries an unsubscribe link.
17. Events Beyond Our Control
We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by something beyond our reasonable control, for example natural disasters, acts of government, war, epidemics, strikes, carrier breakdowns, or failures of power and communications networks.
